What is a Mezuzah? The Mezuzah is a prayer scroll, handwritten on parchment by a scribe. The text
includes the important Jewish prayer, the Shema, and two additional paragraphs from the Torah.
The Mitzvah of placing the Mezuzah is derived from Deuteronomy 6:4-9 "inscribe them on the doorposts
of your house and on your gates".
At Artazia we sell the case that is used to protect the Mezuzah scroll and makes it possible to
attach it to the doorpost. We also sell Kosher Mezuzah scrolls imported from Israel. A traditional, kosher scroll must be handwritten, without any mistakes, on parchment by a professional scribe.
According to Jewish Law, Mezuzahs should be placed on every doorpost and gate in a house. To read the English translation of the Mezuzah please
